该课程系统介绍了英文写作的基本类别及写作方法,结合中英文思维差异,从思维的内容及方式入手,探讨如何将零散、普通的记忆及经历逐步转化成生动的故事;如何将看似杂乱的观点层层理顺,抽丝剥茧,最终写成一篇观点清晰、论据充实的文章;如何进行论证说理,运用不同的论证方式完成论证过程,并有效避免逻辑谬误。
课程设置为三个阶段。
第一阶段为 1-5 章,主要为课程介绍及思辨叙事写作,包含课程介绍,记忆及认知偏差,记叙文写作、描述类写作、及语言修辞。
第二阶段为 6-8 章,主要为思辨说明类写作,讲授正式英文写作的基本结构、论点写法、文章内容发展方式。
第三阶段为 9-12 章,主要为思辨议论文写作,包含论点写作、论理方式、逻辑谬误,以及文章修改技巧等。
