“化学实验室安全科学”是针对化学相关专业学生开设的关于实验室安全教育的选修课程。本课程将针对高校教学和科研实验室的具体情况,着重从化学实验室的规范化管理、安全意识和文化的建立角度出发,从实验室安全的一般知识入手,系统介绍可能危及学生、专业人员及公众安全的易燃、易爆、有毒或有污染的物质及相关设备的安全使用方法;给出废弃物的处理原则与方法;推荐紧急事故的应急处置措施。培养学生的实验室安全意识和分析、处理紧急事故的能力,为进入实验室的安全操作与学习奠定不可或缺的基础。
Safety Science in Chemical Laboratory is an elective course, which trains students to manage the basic safety knowledge in chemistry lab. This course mainly focuses on specific safety circumstances in teaching and research labs of university. It intends to introduce the standardized management of chemistry lab and the lab safety culture, and thus enhance the safety awareness of students. This course sets out from the general safety knowledge, and continues to explain systematically to the students about the flammable, explosive, toxic hazards and pollution which can endanger themselves, technicians or the public. How to handle these hazardous situations and use necessary devices for protection is about to be taught. To follow this, information about the principles and methods of the waste disposal will be provided. Last but not the least, students are required to be familiar with the emergency procedures in the chemistry lab. This course is to foster the safety awareness of students and their ability to analyze and manage to handle emergency situations, and provide solid foundation for students' further theoretical and experimental studies in the lab.
