本课程分为听、说、读、写、译和文化五大板块，从技能需求性、交流实用性和个人发展所需出发，选取中西社会文化的典型案例进行语言应用实训和中外文明发展讲解。包括听辨单词发音、常见口语表达、长难句分析、不同体裁写作思路、英汉互译技巧和中西方思想传统及世界文化等各方面内容，旨在提高学习者的英语使用技能和文化知识，为实际生活和工作中的有效沟通、自信表达打下坚实基础。
