课程简介
大学英语在线开放课程前身为南京航空航天大学精品开放课程资源共享课“大学英语”。该课程设置依据教育部大学英语教学课程要求和我国社会经济迅猛发展和国际化发展趋势对大学生英语能力的培养要求而制定。在培养语言基础能力的同时，注重听、说、读、写、译综合能力的培养，尤其是听说能力的培养，以适应经济发展和国际竞争的需要，体现高等教育整体的高阶性、创新性与挑战度。
本课程教学对象是高等学校非英语专业的一、二年级本科生。学生已掌握基本的英语语音和语法知识，能认知3000左右的英语单词，以及由这些单词构成的常用词组，并具有按照构词法认知生词的能力，在听、说、读、写等方面受过一定程度的训练。
大学英语在线开放课程的课程教学目标为帮助学生打下较扎实的语言基础，掌握良好的语言学习方法，增强自主学习能力，提高综合文化素养，同时依托文化培养思辨精神、提升思辨能力，使学生具有较强的英语综合应用能力，实现大学英语课程的工具性与人文性兼具的课程特点。
本在线开放课程每单元设置包括下列主要模块：
1、词汇主题讲座Themed Vocabulary Talk: 介绍本单元主题相关的四六级词汇
2、文化思辨 Critical Thinking: 针对单元涉及到的文化现象思辨讨论
3、中国文化 Chinese Culture: 了解单元话题相关的中国文化知识，奠基跨文化交际
4、课文结构Text Structure Analysis: 紧贴课文，帮助梳理课文结构与主要议题
5、课文词汇Text Vocabulary: 紧贴课文重要词汇，细析助力熟记、掌握与应用
6、单元测试：通过测试梳理把握本单元重要知识，查漏补缺
