课程简介

Production Engineering is not only a compulsory course of Petroleum Engineering but also one of the core curriculums for Oil and Gas Field Development. Starting from production engineering system, this class bases on the dynamic flow behavior of production system including inflow performance relationships, wellbore flow performance relationships and the method of nodal analysis; explains artificial lift technologies, like pump-assisted lift and gas lift; introduces oil well stimulation methods, like water injection, hydraulic fracturing treatment and acidizing. Students are taught the production engineering knowledge in three aspects: basic theory, main technique process and common equipment principles. Assessment mechanism: course videos and weekly assignments. Course evaluation is composed of two parts: assignments and final exam. Total scores=final exam×50%assignments×50%. Students with total score not lower than 60 could be awarded certificates, and with total score not lower than 85 could be awarded excellent certificates.
