课程简介
《警务英语》是我院公安专业学生选修的一门专业基础课，其目标是适应当前广东省涉外警务的需要，提高警察院校学生的涉外管理能力和涉外案件处理能力，为广东省培养国际化的警务人才。本课程以警察工作岗位英语需求为导向，以应用为目的，以实践为核心，以技能为主线，以职业为背景，根据办案流程设计教学过程，将涉外警务管理的专业知识和英语表达相结合，实现课堂教学与职业岗位工作的对接，使学生能够体验真实的警察岗位工作场景和工作程序，培养学生用英语办理涉外警务案件的能力。课堂教学立足于培养涉外警察岗位英语基本技能，将涉外警务管理知识和专业思维的有效训练融入到课程之中，要求学习者能掌握涉外警务英语专业词汇和工作话语，能看懂涉外警务公文函电，能用英语处理出入境事务、涉外行政案件和涉外刑事案件。
