课程基本介绍：
《通用学术英语（技能篇）》旨在提升学生的学术英语技能和学术英语素养，为大学生在国内外开展专业学习和发展提供语言支撑。本课程于2023年5月获批第二批国家级本科一流在线课程，并于2024年12月获评“全国在线开放课程/MOOC教学优秀案例”，在“高等教育出版社”正式出版基于此课程的“数字课程”1门。本MOOC教学环节包括授课-讨论-拓展-测评，通过精心的教学设计和精选的教学内容，帮助学生EAP技能的全面提升和EAP能力的发展。 “通用学术英语”的学习不需要学生具备专业的背景知识，课程中讲授的是学术英语中核心的听、说、读、写技能，如下图所示：
这些学术英语技能和素养都是大学生在国内外完成高等教育和开展研究所必须具备的基本能力，批判性思维和科学思维的培养也是该课程的目标之一，因此它适合所有的大学本科学生或者是学术英语素养较弱的研究生以及打算继续在国内外深造的高中生学习。
本慕课教学团队成员具有丰富的学术英语教学经验，全部具有长期海外留学或者访学经历，本课程及教学团队2021年获批陕西省首批“课程思政示范课程及课程思政教学团队”。团队成员教学水平突出，近年来，获得省级以上教学竞赛奖30余项，其中包括国家级特等奖、一等奖在内的国家级教学竞赛奖项10项，省级教学竞赛奖项20余项。
团队成员积极开展相关教学研究，近年来，主持省部级教改项目10项，校级教改项目近20项，发表相关高水平教改论文10余篇，编写了《通用学术英语》教材和 “通用学术英语（技能篇）”数字课程，自主研发了“学术英语转述动态评估系统”、“学术英语听力动态评估系统”等，积极践行“教研结合，以研促教”的理念。
