English Language Teaching Methodology, a compulsory course for English education majors in Weinan Normal University, is designed to be completed within12 weeks at the 5th semester. The course book used is A course in English Language Teaching (the 2nd edition), edited by Wang Qiang and published by Higher Education Press. We’ll take up Unit 1-Unit 12 in this book, except Unit 3. By using Problem-solving and Case Analysis Method in the teaching, the course is aimed at the reconstruction of pre-service teachers’ belief, the cultivation of teacher knowledge, and the continuing development of teachers’ professional competence. With a highly qualified and dedicated course team, it will motivate and give students an excellent opportunity：
