The purpose of the Artificial intelligence (AI) course is to help students understand the basic concepts and research methods of AI, be familiar with the development direction of the discipline and the international academic frontier, and establish a foundation for further research in this field. By studying this course, students can master the fundamental principles of AI and acquire initial knowledge and skills in intelligent computation, machine learning, and deep neural networks. They will also develop the ability to apply these methods to solve practical problems.

        The course consists of eight chapters: Introduction, Intelligent Agent, Reasoning by Knowledge, Solving Problems by Search, Computational Intelligence, Machine Learning, Neural Network and Expert Systems. Furthermore, several thematic discussions have been incorporated, such as typical applications and the future of AI.
