这门课会讲什么?

《中级英语写作》是面向全校非艺术类本科生,在二年级第一学期开设的公共必修课。课程涵盖阅读输入、写作技巧讲解和项目制写作输出三部分,其中阅读输入要求学生网上同步自学,并完成相应的练习。课堂主体部分为写作技巧讲解和项目制写作输出,写作技巧的安排具有层级性,从导论、写作过程、写作类型、写作格式,依次到字词、句、段落、篇章和应用文写作。为了让学生更有文体意识,用英语思维来进行写作,字词、句和段落的讲解分别结合了描写文、叙述文和议论文三大文体。课程模态多样化:互动式教学、启发式教学和项目式教学等交替使用。通过一学期的学习,学生预计达到知识、能力和素养、情感三方面拟定目标(具体见课程1.3)。

通过本课程的学习, 你将系统地掌握写作的基础知识,初步掌握一些常见应用文的写作,并为学术写作打下夯实的基础,具体如下:

1. 拓展英语写作学习的时间和空间,参与师生学习共同体。线上线下从“地道阅读输入+写作技巧探析+实用操练输出”三个维度突破,合理运用课内外时间、教材和网络资源,加强英语写作基础。学习者和同伴、教师共同构成团体,加强交流,分享学习资源,形成相互影响,相互促进的人际关系。

2. 个性化化学习。英语写作基础不一的学生可以根据自己的进度在本课程中找到相应资源,调整学习节奏,和班级同学均衡发展。项目制教学法,中国传统文化和课程思政元素将有助于提高学习兴趣,培养积极的价值观。

3. 为专业学习插上翅膀。英语写作知识与专业、就业等产生联结,实现学用一体。

4. 顺利对接后续高阶写作课程。


适合什么人学习?

     本课程适用于具备一定英语综合水平(已过大学英语四级,或达到该等级水平)的普通高等院校本科生,以及对本课程有兴趣的社会人员。同时,也可以作为高校教师备课研讨、教研教改的参考资源。
